Hey everyone!
It's been awhile since I've taken my head out of the computer, so I thought I'd drop a quick line to let everyone know that The Celiac Shack is well on it's way to being new and improved in the VERY near future! We've been working feverishly on every aspect of The Shack, and I think all of you will really enjoy the results when we do our re-launch!
We're coming up with some great new contests and additions so get your "fun" ready! As always, we'd love to hear from you and get any comments, suggestions and input you may have, so feel free to drop us a line if you think of anything you'd like us to add to our site or community.
While I'm here, I wanted to tell you what I made for breakfast this morning ~ It was AWESOME!
GLUTEN FREE BREAKFAST PROTEIN SHAKE
3 cups skim milk
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 banana
1 cup cooked rice
1 tablespoon vanilla
sugar to taste
ice
Blend all together for a delicious quick breakfast. I usually add gluten free oats to our shakes for some "bite", but the rice was a really nice addition. Plus it used up my leftover rice from last night....love it when I can come up with new ways to save money!
Keep in touch ~ Until next time...Have a happy gluten free day!
Susan :)

Gluten Free Protein Shakes
I have been looking for a Protein Shake that I could use in place of my old shakes, and I think I have found it. I use Protein Shakes as a meal replacement in the mornings to make things easier in my life. I add whatever fruit I have on hand to make my delicious and nutritious quick breakfast. I used to use an off brand, but can no longer use it due to gluten, as with many other items in my life. I have a friend that introduced me to the Arbonne Go Easy! Protein Shake with INNER G-PLEX. I found out that it contains no gluten, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. Come to find out that it's actually really good. It comes in either Chocolate or Vanilla, and I would recommend either one.
I did find this comment regarding Arbonne: Please note that although these products do not contain any gluten, they are not manufactured in a gluten-free facility.
I haven't had any problems with the shakes so far, but I want to be as up front as possible for those of you that this would be an issue for.
Give them a whirl...they come in either a 15 or 30 day supply size, and you may be able to sweet talk a consultant to give you a discount like I did!
