Gluten-Free Product Info.

Minnie Beasley Gluten-Free Cookies

I was recently contacted through Gluten-Free Faces by a gentleman named Harmon Beasley Canon. He owns a small cookie company in Denver, CO that produces gluten-free cookies. Good for us huh? I'm all about healthy living, but a girl has to live! So I checked out his website to see what they are up to. Firstly, there is a real down to earth video clip introducing the history of the company by Harmon himself. He is traditional Southern gentleman that grew up in Memphis, TN. The cookies he is selling, are actually a family recipe handed down from his great aunt Minnie. Since he is rather small, I have decided to write this piece to help promote his product. The big guys have more advertising dollars than you can shake a stick at.

I found a couple of cookies that peaked my interest. The Gluten Free Almond Lace Cookies & Gluten Free Chocolate Cookies. Both look like a very untraditional cookie, but still appeared very appetizing. This could be due to the fact that all the cookies are hand rolled. He includes the ingredients labels for these items on his website. He uses no gluten what-so-ever in these treats. Though I have yet to taste them myself, Harmon boasts about his cookie receiving the "Best Cookie" award at a famous New York food gala. That has to tell you he's doing something right. His prices are competitive and his packaging is attractive. You can purchases them directly through their website for you or a gift for a friend.

So here's to you Harmon! Thank you for producing a product for all us gluten intolerant folk. From all of us here at The Celiac Shack, we wish you great prosperity and happiness. Best of luck.
